What Is Life Coaching?
Coaching helps you clarify and reach your goals in the shortest amount of time possible

Athletes have coaches to achieve their goals. Why shouldn’t you?   Competitive athletes have a professional coach on the sidelines. The coach provides training, practice and encouragement for athletes so they can be their best. Life coaching does the same thing! As your Life Coach I’m your professional training partner supporting you in producing the results you want by working with you on your goals.

My job as your coach is to build on the strengths you already have, and to offer you opportunities to practice new skills in order to build the confidence it takes for you to be your very best self in the game of life.

Life coaching provides a common sense approach for addressing life’s challenges. It is an interactive and positive process that helps people get unstuck from the cycle of the way things have always been.

As your life coach, I support you in trusting in yourself, developing a course of action, and accepting responsibility for making choices, which line up with your values. Working with a life coach helps you discover what holds true meaning and purpose in your life. As your coach, I will help you to access your core strengths in order to resolve your present challenges.

Working with a Life Coach, you achieve more in a shorter period of time than you would alone. I’m trained to listen, observe, and develop a customized approach that meets your personal needs. This individualized program means you’ll be doing relevant work specifically targeted to helping you identify and reach your goals. Through my coaching, I’ll help you implement solutions to reach your personal goals that will leave you satisfied and confident.

What you can expect from coaching:
  • clarify confusing situations
  • re-gain focus on what’s important
  • focus on the goals you choose and build confidence to achieve them
  • consider new options with a fresh perspective
  • develop strategies that move you forward
  • create solutions you feel good about
  • support to uphold your commitments
  • develop confidence to live with purpose and passion

Life coaching is not therapy. The major focus of psychotherapy is to address the healing and resolution of issues rooted in the past. Coaching is less concerned about the healing of old wounds and is more focused on “so, what to do about it now.” The main thrust of coaching is to develop the client’s present and future life through emphasizing the importance of taking specific actions to achieve their goals and dreams. As a Life Coach, I do not provide therapy, medicine or provide crisis mitigation services. I provide support and am trained in key essential coaching competencies that complement my specialized professional experience.

Coaching is an interactive and positive process. that helps people get unstuck from the cycle of the way things have always been. You achieve more in a shorter period of time working with a life coach rather than on your own because I am trained to listen and help breakdown goals into do-able action steps that will give you real results.
